Notes: USA has been home since 1995 when my family and I moved here from Ukraine. It wasn’t until after my two stints living abroad in Singapore 2011 and New Zealand 2012 that I learned I could volunteer as a Motorsport marshal. Of course in the states they call it Corner Working and besides wearing white and following completely different rules to that of the rest of the world and FIA, it’s basically the same experience. I received a lot of hostility when I started marshaling here but have now come to a point where I marshal whatever event I want and when I want without having to belong to too many clubs or organizations.
