Notes: Watkins Glen is my other home track even though it takes me an average of 5 hours to drive up there. Unlike other tracks, WGI marshals are organized by RSI the local club with it’s own membership rules unaffiliated with SCCA. The track is fantastic with it’s location overlooking Seneca Lake and many elevation changes as well as multiple configurations skipping the boot section for NASCAR events. It hosts all major racing series in the US including IMSA, SRO, NASCAR and IndyCar as well as multiple club events. I try to participate in the 6 hour enduro every chance I get. NASCAR is also a treat, and the organization actually provides marshal training each year, which is where I did my fire extinguisher training.
