Notes: As in many other cases I learned about an event I wanted to volunteer in Portugal while volunteering for the Bathurst 12 hour in Australia. There was a Seat Cupra hatchback racing with a Maxi Enduro 48h livery. What a fantastic idea? I thought. That race was meant to take place somewhere in Spain and it never materialized. But the same promoter came up with a shorter Maxi Enduro 32h idea held in Portugal which I jumped on the possibility of participating in. The local marshaling body was extremely welcoming and treated me like family. Car rentals were cheap so I drove myself to the track every day. Booked a hosted where I was the only patron. December in Porto is off season so I took advantage of many bargains to make my experience there enjoyable. The racing from Creventic was fine too, it however only lasted for that one individual event…. as historic as it was. A SEAT finished the race in first place ahead of many other GT3 machines.
