Notes: Detroit is one of my favorite street circuits that IndyCar series visit. Belle Isle located in the middle of the river between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario is a beautiful setting and a convenient excuse to go visit Canada while participating at this event. I have done the race both as a fly-away and drive to event, with the latter causing some damage to my Miata as the roads in Michigan are horrendous… I broke a wheel bearing after hitting a few pot holes.
